Artist Bio: Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Ian McFarlane moved to Atlanta in 1984 and later attended the Lamar Dodd School of Art at University of Georgia, where he worked as photo consultant & personal dark room printer for Michael Stipe of R.E.M. from 1993-2000. From 2006-08, he was the Co-Creator and Head of Photography for ATHENA Magazine for Women. In 2025 he was a Critical Mass Top 200 Finalist.
